How does the OM Migration Tool ensure the security of my tokens during migration?

The OM Migration Tool ensures the security of your tokens through a straightforward process that involves both the Ethereum and MANTRA Chain sides. Not to mention, the OM Migration Tool is the ONLY secure way to migrate your ERC-20 OM tokens to MANTRA Chain!

With that, let’s discuss the process at a high-level.

1. Ethereum side:

   1. When you first initiate a migration, we first validate that the ERC-20 OM tokens are legitimate according to the official MANTRA ERC-20 OM token contract: 0x3593D125a4f7849a1B059E64F4517A86Dd60c95d

   2. Upon a successful EVM-wallet transaction, these ERC-20 OM tokens are then sent to the official Ethereum burn address.

   3. In the same transaction, your designated MANTRA Chain wallet ID is added to the memo.

This process ensures that there is no custody of your tokens by the MANTRA Chain team.

1. MANTRA Chain side:

   1. On the MANTRA Chain Mainnet, we utilize a read-only ledger. Upon verification of your valid OM Migration Tool order in the Ethereum side, an equivalent amount of MANTRA Chain coins is released and transferred to your specified MANTRA Chain wallet.

While regular security audits are typically conducted to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities, an audit is not necessary for our OM Migration Tool since:

1. It does not have custody of your tokens, and

2. It only uses a read-only ledger
