# Connect to Testnet

Here’s the step-by-step tutorial guide on how to set up Metamask Wallet and Keplr Wallet to connect to active MANTRA Chains (testnet and mainnet).

## Metamask Setup

For the time being - using Metamask is the ideal scenario as it can render balances correctly for EVM and for MANTRA Chain (DUKONG) OM

1. Open Metamask and from top-right corner select the network dropdown to add custom network per the specs below:
   1. Network Name
      1. MANTRA-Dukong
   2. RPC URL
      1. <https://evm.dukong.mantrachain.io>
   3. Chaim ID (EVM)
      1. 5887
   4. Currency Symbol
      1. OM
   5. Block explorer URL

      1. <https://mantrascan.io/dukong>

2. Switch to MANTRA-Dukong network and you should see native OM token balance

## Kelpr Setup

> **Step 1: Install Keplr Wallet**

To begin, navigate to <https://keplr.app/> and install the Keplr Wallet extension compatible with your browser. Keplr Wallet is essential for managing your crypto assets on the Cosmos ecosystem.

> **Step 2: Set Up Keplr Wallet**

Begin by adding a wallet name, setting up a password, and securing your seed phrase or recovery phrase. Remember, DO NOT share your recovery phrase with **ANYONE**.

> **Step 3: Add MANTRA Chain to Keplr Wallet**

Now, let’s integrate the MANTRA Chain into your Keplr Wallet.

1. Click on the <i class="fa-bars">:bars:</i> button on Kelpr
2. Enter "mantra dukong EVM" in the :mag: search
3. Click on "MANTRA Dukong EVM" :ballot\_box\_with\_check:
